Hello, I'd like to give a short introduction of myself. I'm a simple college student attending Wake Forest University. My appearance on this forum is unusual, to say the least.
I don't like tea. I've never been able to drink even a small cup of it. I can't drink it sweetened, unsweetened, green, black, whatever. I never could because I didn't like the taste.
At this point in my life, I am looking for an interest. I don't drink alcohol (Yeah, I know I'm in college...), but I've always had an interest in crafting alcoholic drinks and fermenting my own beers. It's something I can't venture into because of age and resource requirements.
I want to start making tea. It interests me, even though I don't drink it. I feel like I could enjoy it if I knew what actually went into the craft and really learned the ins and outs of it. I have no idea where to start - which is why I'm here. I happened upon "The Sip Tip" by Adam and noticed he had just started this forum. I'd love to be part of the forum and explore tea and tea craft.
And thats why I'm here. I'm here to learn, teach, and explore Tea.
A little more about myself if you wish to read. I'm 18 years old. I'm working on a pre-med track as a Biology major. I've got a girlfriend who I'm really close to (she just so happens to love tea!). And to top it off I'm bored and hope I can acquire tea making equipment - even though I live in a dorm.
Any tips to starting would be welcomed, this is looking like a fairly possible hobby!
